The new amber series by designer Charlotte Lynggaard, puts a modern spin on antique jewellery, adding a vibrant look to the best selling Lotus collection.

This time around, Charlotte lends her inspiration from 20th century nostalgia and the strong women of the era who broke the social norms and shaped their own destiny.

The series appeals to the independent woman who dares to stand out from the crowd and show off her unique style. She is not afraid to mix amber, stones, and bold colors such as red carnelian, grey moonstone or perhaps a deep purple amethyst in combination with yellow gold and black silver.

The collection features amber with a touch of butterscotch and honey yellow.

Each piece is made of million year old pine resin and is a testament to a long journey from the bottom of the ocean to the hands of the goldsmiths in Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen’s studio.

The goldsmiths carefully refine the organic material to the soft shaped rings and pendants that signify the Lotus collection. With the series, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen honours the traditions of amber craftsmanship that has its deep roots in Scandinavian jewellery-making.
