When Jewellery designer Charlotte Lynggaard created My Friend, she was inspired by an article about global warming - the threats it imposes on the existence of penguins and the consequences it has on people with the spreading of the desert.

“If we are all aware of the emerging problems associated to the planet will live in, and if each of us  takes action – even though it’s in a small scale – then it’s a big step in the right direction”. – says Charlotte

My friend is a token symbol of care. With My Friend you get more than a piece of unique jewellery and Scandinavian design, you also contribute to a water project in Africa. My Friend has already collected over 1 million Danish kroners and built many wells, administered by the sponsor organisation BORNEfonden (member of Child Fund International).
