SWEET DROPS

HAND MADE IN DENMARK
The Sweet Drops™ bracelet is handmade in Denmark with expert craftsmanship.
The luxurious bracelet is made from the finest soft, calfskin leather, tailored for the purpose of wearing it with the beautifully crafted, changeable Sweet Drops™ in numerous different and exquisite expressions.
The exceptional leather handwork of the bracelet is supported by traditional tanning, dying and sewing techniques. Each process requires hours of manual labour in order to acquire the desired result and at the end of each method, the leather is subjected to stringent quality control, in order to ensure the superior quality of the finished product.

CARVING TO CAPTURE LIGHT AND COLOUR
In the hands of a stone artisan, a professional lapidary, who practices the craft of working, forming and finishing the stones, the beautifully faceted Sweet drop gems are cut and carved, capturing a maximum of light into the stone, increasing the lustre and creating an enchanting sparkle of colour and light.

The skilled lapidary cuts another raw stone in a convex cut, creating a smooth, polished and refined finish, turning it into an elegant cabochon. The shapes and colours of the Sweet Drops™ enable many wearable and complimentary variations of the bracelet. This supports Ole Lynggaard´s original idea of designing flexible jewellery, the concept of the company for almost half a century.

TENDER ORGANIC CORALS
The collection features fine jewellery made from the exotic material, coral. Vibrant red cabochon corals, delicately set in beautifully handcrafted gold, are tender organic jewels. Cared for lovingly, coral gems will become heirlooms. The coral used is the red Mediterranean coral, “Corallium Rubrum”, thriving in the waters off the coasts of Sardinia and Sicily. Inhabiting depths between 80-200 metres, the corals are carefully retrieved by selected authorized divers, who are strictly regulated by regional legislation. The extremely sensitive corals are neither chemically treated nor dyed.
