Designer
Creative at heart, Sofia expresses herself through drawing, painting, and design. Her fine jewellery collections capture her playful creativity, seamlessly blending craftsmanship and thoughtful attention to detail. Meet Sofia and explore her creative universe.
As the daughter of Charlotte Lynggaard and granddaughter of founder Ole Lynggaard, Sofia Lynggaard Normann (b. 1996) is the third generation of designers at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN.
Sofia officially joined the company in 2018, contributing to digital campaigns, window displays, and visual expressions of the brand’s universe. Alongside her work, she trained at the first-year introductory course at NEXT in Copenhagen, followed by studies at HRD Antwerp, Shillington School of Graphic Design in London, and Central Saint Martins.
Since then, she has developed her creative voice within the atelier and workshop at the OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN headquarters, where her ideas evolve into distinctive jewellery creations. In 2023, the year of the brand’s 60th anniversary, she co-curated the DIAMOND JUBILEE exhibition at Øregaard Museum while also unveiling a first glimpse of her debut fine jewellery collections.
Across Sofia's design universe runs a deep fascination with nature. In spring 2024, Sofia launched her debut fine jewellery collections, Young Fish and Under the Sea, inspired by her experiences diving in the deep blue depths off the coast of Australia. In 2026, she introduced Bird Family – a collection of charms and pendants inspired by nature and shaped by imagination. Each bird charm is a small, precious token – a symbol of courage, freedom, and togetherness, echoing the spirit of flight and the beauty of meaningful connections.
