The Elephant collection

The Elephant collection, designed by Ole Lynggaard, features organic elephant pendants for necklaces and charms for bracelets in four sizes. The pieces come in 18 karat gold and white gold as well as silver, and some are pavé-set with either white diamonds or brown and yellow diamonds. The collection also includes an elegant brooch, small elephant charms on cord and sets with pendants or charms on different necklaces and bracelets.

With their gentle expression and soft shapes, the pieces in the Elephant collection have earned icon status and suit both yourself and someone you want to give something special.

From a journey through Asia to a collection of elephants

As a newly qualified goldsmith, Ole Lynggaard travelled through Asia in the early 1960s, where he was fascinated by the graceful movements of the hard-working elephants. To Ole, the elephant became a symbol of loyalty, strength and courage, exactly the qualities he wanted to see in his own jewellery house.

In 1991, the Lynggaard family went on safari in Tanzania to celebrate Ole and Karin Lynggaard’s 25th wedding anniversary. There, Ole gave his wife his very first elephant design.

Over the years, he developed more elephant jewellery and presented the finished collection on his 80th birthday in 2016. Today it has won hearts around the world and stands as a true icon at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN.
