Jewellery care guide

Caring for gemstone jewellery

Gemstones are nature’s treasures, each one unique in colour, pattern, and character. From brilliant diamonds to vibrant coloured gemstones, every stone deserves thoughtful care to preserve its natural beauty. Clean gemstones gently with lukewarm water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive products. As many gemstones are more delicate than diamonds, protect them from knocks and everyday impact. Ethiopian opals require extra care and should never be exposed to water, heat, or chemicals, while coral should be kept away from oils, perfumes, detergents, and prolonged sunlight to maintain its distinctive appearance.

Every gemstone is one of a kind, shaped by nature over millions of years. With mindful care and gentle cleaning, its colour, brilliance, and natural beauty can be preserved for generations. Some gemstones require extra attention, making careful handling an essential part of their story. Clean with non-abrasive care products.
