Tennis has a rich history in the Lynggaard family, and we are proud to share the passion and dedication to the sport as a brand. Since 2021, we have been a Premium Partner of Bad Homburg Open. A WTA-tournament where tennis stars from all over the world meet to play for the title and trophy.

THE ELEPHANT TROPHY

As Premium Partner of Bad Homburg Open, we are proud to have created the Elephant trophy. Casted from a raw piece of bronze, the trophy is an enlarged version of the iconic Elephant pendant designed by brand founder Ole Lynggaard. Polished details emphasize the elephant’s natural shape, and in its trunk, it holds a shiny tennis ball crafted from white gold. Every year, the winner of the tournament gets her name engraved on the trophy.

We are also honoured to present the winner and runner-up of both the single and double tournament at Bad Homburg Open with Elephant pendants specially made for the tournament. The Elephant pendants are crafted by hand from 18 karat yellow gold and carefully engraved with the Bad Homburg Open 2023 logo – and in its trunk, the elephant holds a small tennis ball crafted from 18 karat white gold. The Elephant pendant is a token of courage, loyalty, and strength – and a lucky charm to be treasured forever.
