As the daughter of Charlotte Lynggaard and the eldest granddaughter of founder Ole Lynggaard, Sofia Lynggaard Normann (b. 1996) is the third generation of designers at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN.

Sofia officially joined the company in 2018. Since then, she has been studying the art of craftsmanship up close and bringing her competencies into play while creating digital campaigns, window displays, and various visuals expressing the brand’s universe. After completing the first-year introductory course in goldsmithing at NEXT in Copenhagen she attended a variety of courses at HRD Antwerp in Belgium, Shillington School of Graphic Design London, and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London.

During the last few years, Sofia’s creative projects have been envisioned in the atelier and workshop at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN’s headquarters. For the brand’s 60^th anniversary in 2023, she showcased a sneak peak of her fine jewellery collections and created couture dresses to underpin the jewellery. In the same year, she co-curated the exhibition DIAMOND JUBILEE. OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN – 60 YEARS OF FINE JEWELLERY DESIGN at Øregaard Museum.
