Our company

For more than six decades, craftsmanship has defined our house. The story began in 1958, when young goldsmith Ole Lynggaard set out on a journey around the world, exploring cultures and craft traditions that would inspire his creative vision. Upon returning home to Denmark in 1963, he founded his namesake company, beginning a design legacy that continues to this day.

From these origins, OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN has grown into an international maison. Today, the company remains family-owned, with three generations of the Lynggaard family carrying the house’s story forward. Ole’s daughter Charlotte Lynggaard is Creative Director and designer, and his son Søren Lynggaard is CEO.

At the heart of the company lies our artisan workshop, still on the same street north of Copenhagen, where Ole opened his atelier in 1963. Over the decades, it has expanded thoughtfully and today brings together a highly skilled team, including 40 master goldsmiths, supported by a trusted network of partners beyond Copenhagen. Together, we share a deep dedication to craftsmanship, shaped by time, patience, skill – and creativity.
